Terms of Service
Effective date 2026-09-28
This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the 1Bookmark service provided by A Cup of Commit (커밋한잔), and the rights and obligations of A Cup of Commit and its members.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to set out the conditions and procedures for using 1Bookmark (the "Service"), a bookmark management service that A Cup of Commit provides through the web, desktop app, mobile app, Raycast extension and other channels.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Member" means a person who uses the Service under these Terms.
- "Space" means a place where bookmarks are collected. There are personal spaces used alone and team spaces shared by several members.
- "Bookmark" means a web address saved to the Service by a member, together with its title, description, tags and other information.
- "Paid Service" means a plan, such as Pro, provided for a fee. A purchase whose amount is zero because of a discount is also treated as a purchase of a Paid Service.
- "Pro Coupon" means a seat that a paid-plan member can use to give another member access to Pro.
- "Pass" means a code issued by A Cup of Commit that, once registered, lets a member use a specific plan without payment for a set period.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
A Cup of Commit posts these Terms on the Service so that anyone can read them.
A Cup of Commit may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. When it does, it announces the effective date and the reason for the amendment on the Service or by email from 7 days before the effective date (30 days before for changes unfavorable to members).
If a member signs in to or keeps using the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, the member is deemed to have agreed to them. A member who does not agree may stop using the Service and delete their account.
Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
The service agreement is formed when a member signs in with the verification code sent to their email and continues after reviewing these Terms and the Privacy Policy presented on the sign-in screen.
Persons under the age of 14 may not sign up for the Service.
Article 5 (Account Management)
Members must keep their email account and sign-in sessions secure. A member who learns that their account has been used by someone else must notify A Cup of Commit immediately.
Members can review the devices signed in to their account and sign them out from the settings screen.
Article 6 (Provision of the Service)
The Service provides features such as saving and searching bookmarks, sharing spaces, tags and importing.
The Service is offered on free and paid plans. The price and usage limits of each plan are shown on the pricing page (/pricing).
Article 7 (Plan Limits and Usage Restrictions)
Each plan has limits, such as the number of spaces and the number of members in a team space.
When a limit is exceeded, creating new spaces, inviting members and adding bookmarks to the affected space may be restricted. Even then, members can keep searching, viewing, editing and deleting bookmarks that are already saved.
When a paid plan ends and the account moves to the free plan, the limits of the free plan apply.
Article 8 (Advertising)
A Cup of Commit may display advertisements on the screens of the Service used by free-plan members.
Article 9 (Paid Services)
Members can purchase a Paid Service after reviewing and agreeing to the amount, billing cycle, auto-renewal, and cancellation and refund terms at checkout.
- Auto-renewal: monthly billing renews every month and yearly billing renews every year on the same terms.
- Cancellation: members can cancel at any time from My Profile > Plan. After cancellation, no further payments are made from the next renewal, and the plan remains available until the end of the period already paid for.
- Withdrawal and refunds: within 7 days of payment, the member may withdraw the purchase and receive a full refund. After that, members on yearly billing may still request early cancellation and a refund through customer support (help@commit2.app). In that case, the amount for the months used (counting the month in progress, at one-twelfth of the yearly payment per month) is deducted from the payment, and a 10% cancellation fee on the remaining amount is also deducted before the rest is refunded. The paid plan then remains available until the end of the last month charged (months counted from the payment date), after which the account moves to the free plan and Pro access given through the member's Pro Coupons also ends. Other refunds follow applicable laws, such as the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- Price changes and end of discounts: if a price increase or the end of a discount (such as a launch discount) raises the amount charged, members are notified by email or other means at least 30 days in advance and asked for consent. Without consent, the subscription does not renew from that point.
- A purchase whose amount is zero because of a discount is processed as a regular purchase, and the plan's benefits apply in full for the period paid for.
Article 10 (Pro Coupons and Passes)
- Paid-plan members can use Pro Coupons to give Pro access to other members (including their own other accounts). The number of Pro Coupons available on each plan is shown on the pricing page (/pricing) and may change. However, it will not be reduced during a subscription period that has already been paid for.
- Access received through a Pro Coupon lasts for the subscription period of the member who gave the coupon and ends when that subscription ends. A coupon that has been taken back cannot be used again within the same subscription period.
- A Pass is valid for a set period from the date it is registered. Passes cannot be transferred to others, and A Cup of Commit may revoke passes obtained improperly.
Article 11 (Members' Obligations)
Members must not:
- Save or share information that violates the law or infringes the rights of others
- Use another person's account without permission
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service or use the Service in abnormal ways
Article 12 (Bookmarks and Other Member Content)
Members retain the rights to the bookmarks and related information they save. A Cup of Commit stores and processes them only to the extent needed to provide the Service.
Bookmarks saved to a team space are shared with the members of that space.
Article 13 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
A Cup of Commit may change or suspend parts of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Important changes unfavorable to members are announced in advance.
If the Service is interrupted for unavoidable reasons, such as natural disasters or equipment failures, it is restored as quickly as possible.
Article 14 (Account Deletion and Usage Restrictions)
Members can delete their account at any time from My Profile. After deletion, account information is deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
If a member violates these Terms, A Cup of Commit may issue a warning, restrict use or terminate the account.
Article 15 (Limitation of Liability)
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, A Cup of Commit is not liable in connection with services provided free of charge.
A Cup of Commit is not liable for service disruptions caused by the member, or for the content of external sites that links saved by members point to.
Article 16 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
Inquiries and complaints about the Service can be sent to customer support or help@commit2.app.
These Terms and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any lawsuit arising from a dispute shall be filed with the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Addendum
These Terms apply from the effective date.
